Chris Ellwood is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Chris has been in the field of counseling since 2008 and has worked in a wide range of treatment settings including residential, inpatient hospital, and outpatient treatment. He has extensive experience working individually with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, bipolar, stress, trauma, and relationship issues. In addition, Chris is experienced in providing Group Therapy, including Family Groups that provide mental health education
to family and loved ones.
Chris is down to earth, patient, and takes a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to therapy that allows the individuals to explore their current challenges in a safe space. He enjoys collaborating with individuals in identifying solutions to their problems and promoting a process of self-discovery that will assist in living a healthier and happier life.
